To get from work to home, I go through Essex and follow route 133 towards Gloucester. When I reach route 128, I can take that for a couple miles, across the A Piatt Andrew Bridge, then head up 127 to home … or I can stay on 133, down to the coast road, across the Cut Bridge, and through Gloucester city center to home.
With the continuing bridge work causing delays on 128, I sometimes go the “long way round”, but today when I reached the Cut Bridge, it was just opening – so another delay (only a few minutes, time to switch off the engine and enjoy the view of the Atlantic Ocean & harbor!):

Overflowing!
This morning’s gray, cool weather lost the battle with a strong mid-April sun, and we got sunshine and a bit of a warm-up … nice enough to take a walk round Goose Cove reservoir; and it’s completely full right now, so much that there’s a noisy lot of water running out of the overflow:
