Monarch caterpillars

Over the last year Margaret has greatly expanded our back garden with many “Florida native” plants, including a number of milkweed plants that attract Monarch butterflies – and we now see the evidence with lots of leaves eaten, and four or five caterpillars. Not great for the plants, but good for the butterflies!

Garden tour

It’s the end of May, we have loads of sunshine, and the rain is about to start coming frequently. Meanwhile all the plants in our front garden are growing well, and Margaret’s newer plantings in the back are starting to establish themselves too. Time for more photos …
