Seven States: Cahokia Mounds
We’d hoped to visit a couple of Native American historic sites on this trip – sadly our arrival at Cahokia Mounds found that the interpretive center is closed, so we’re just looking at some grass/dirt mounds with a lack of understanding. It could have been better!
There was a nearby “Woodhenge” too, but it was hardly more than telegraph poles in the ground, so no photos …
Seven States: Laumeier Sculpture Park
Before leaving St Louis, we visited Laumeier Sculpture Park; a big place with many big and impressive sculptures – and lots of photo opportunities!
