Joanne and Earle have visited Las Vegas twice now, but never seen anywhere except the casinos! So we drove them out to Hoover Dam, both outside and inside; and got to see the getting-closer-to-completion new bridge, too!
This evening, while it was still mid-70s at 9pm(!), we watched the Fountains of Bellagio from “below” – street level …
This evening, we took Joanne & Earle to see the Fremont St Experience – the roof light / sound show over Old Town Vegas. It’s St Patrick’s day, and there were LOADS of people … and of course, lots of green!
We arrived in time to see / hear Don McLean’s American Pie, and it was an excellent performance!
