Las Vegas

That is, the view from our Bellagio hotel room at night, both when the fountain show is running, and when not … Beautiful!

Also today, we looked around the Bellagio conservatory – always lovely flowers, and constantly being redesigned; right now there are giant ants, bees, snails, and a bucket and spade! Also, these wonderful reflecting balls (the spade is 28′ – three stories – high!):

This morning we got up and loved the view! Of course it’s the same view as last time we stayed, but it remains special! And in the evening, we enjoyed lots of fountain performances too …

But between those two views, we spent the day travelling down the Las Vegas strip from the Bellagio, through the new City Center complex (with Aria hotel and Veer “leaning” towers, past Monte Carlo, New York York, Excalibur, to Luxor and the Mandalay Bay hotels), and back again of course …
