Landing next day – small cars in England, not much room for our luggage!
I’ve flown out for a short weekend joining this years MINI Takes The States, sharing a weekend drive with George from his new home in Phoenix, to Los Angeles. This morning, I’m at his home today (which is a little lacking in the furniture department, right now!)
Outside, it’s HOT; as soon as the Sun came up this morning, I had to dive back in to air conditioning; but I did first get this picture of one of many impressive Saguaro in the area:
From Glen Cove Mansion we drove down to George & Jayne this morning, planning to head with them to The Big Duck, but an unexpected event occurred first – George was selling one of his three GPs! We also got to peak at his third GP, the one that has never been driven and stays safe in an “air cocoon”! His third GP is at his other home in Arizona …
At the coast, George & Margaret tried the water, and we got a nice picture of Margaret & me:
Then back to George & Jayne’s house, for a wonderful BBQ:
