Today we visited the Biltmore estate in North Carolina – and it was spectacular, both the extensive landscape, and the large home! Lots of pictures (though sadly, none are allowed inside the home):

Driving North

We left 8002 this morning, heading North for maybe 1600 miles over the next week … So far the first couple hundred miles are rather dull, scenery wise, but at least the traffic is light …

(I’m in the passenger seat while Margaret drives, so I can take and post pictures – so long as AT&T can manage to provide service for my iPad, which apparently is tricky even though we are on I-95!)
