Our annual trip to Captain Lord Mansion in Kennebunkport for my birthday gave us the chance once again to walk the Marginal Way in Ogunquit, along the Atlantic coast …
Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom
We’ve been to Animal Kingdom many times, and I’ve always wished there was some sort of “backstage” tour to get closer to the Safari animals – and now there is! Margaret & I went on Wild Africa Trek with Joanne & Earle today, and had an excellent three hours in a small group with great guides, and some unusually close animal experiences …
Everyone is dressed in a safety harness; there’s a few bridges to cross, and they also use the harnesses to keep us not-too-close to the Hippos and Crocodiles! And then we’re off to see animals both on foot and on a truck – with lunch in the “savannah” with Giraffe and Elephants!
Separate to the “trek”, I also got some pictures of a Tiger, and Mickey Mouse!
Brighton

And favourite tourist destination, Brighton Royal Pavilion (even though they infuriatingly allow no photos inside!):
