Vacation

My Nan reaches her 90th Birthday on Monday, and almost the whole family gathered for a celebration dinner:

We visited the town of Battle today, where the Battle Of Hastings was fought almost 1000 years ago – an abbey was built there afterwards and remains are still there. Very interesting!

Today was warm – up to 5c (40f)! A nice Sunny day, perfect for a trip to the Beach and a nearby Castle – so long as you wear thick coats!

And in the distance across the Solent, the Needles on the Isle Of Wight!
