Another failed attempt to visit a Native American historic site – this time the museum is being rebuilt and every exhibit has been removed! So we again saw a few grass/dirt mounds, even less than at Cahokia …

Another overnight to tick off a state; Evansville had a nice mural, a nice used-to-be post office, and a nice riverbank …

We’d hoped to visit a couple of Native American historic sites on this trip – sadly our arrival at Cahokia Mounds found that the interpretive center is closed, so we’re just looking at some grass/dirt mounds with a lack of understanding. It could have been better!

There was a nearby “Woodhenge” too, but it was hardly more than telegraph poles in the ground, so no photos …
