Heading to St Louis for the night, Margaret had found a hotel within site of the famous St Louis Gateway Arch …

Heading further north, we took a break at a historic lead mine site – while we couldn’t go in the old buildings, there was an interesting museum and lots of rocks and minerals (we even bought a couple!) …

We stopped here just to tick off Arkansas on our “states visited” list, and sadly there’s not a lot to see – there was a cool BLYTHEVILLE sign, and a (closed) Greyhound Bus museum …
