Vacation

There’s so much incredible scenery in Iceland but it’s dominated by the volcanic mountains – both the peaks, and the basalt rocks that they’ve created. Also, a “tear” through the center of the country, caused by the tectonic plates pulling apart. Here’s another amazing collection of photos!

Our Iceland trip started and ended with time in Reykjavik, a very beautiful but rapidly changing city. Very walkable, although cool for us Florida folks, and so much to see with interesting buildings, sculptures, “art graffiti”, water front, and more. I use Google Photos as an automatic backup of all my photos (Apple’s iCloud is the primary service, synchronizing everything between iPhone / iPad / portable and desktop Mac and thus creating backups everywhere!)
