In today’s misty morning, we drove into the city and headed for Norwich cathedral, a spectacular building more than 900 years old: this website states “Bishop Herbert laid the foundation stone at the very east end of the building in 1096”! We can see the spire, from our parking:
Felbrigg Hall and gardens
This morning we spent quite a few hours (and miles of walking) at Felbrigg Hall and gardens, quite a lovely place to spend some time! The hall interior is less impressive than Brighton Pavilion, but the benefit here is that visitors are allowed to take photos!
After touring the hall, we headed over to the walled garden:
