Gloucester recently added some huge windmill generators at the industrial park, and I finally remembered to go up close and check them out! Surprisingly warm humid weather for January (close to 50f) results in heavy fog near the coast, but arguably a better picture because of it … The windmills are really very big; I had to walk far away to get even most of the machine in one picture. Here I included Margaret’s Z4 for comparison:
Overnight warmer weather and rain helped to make much of the fish pond ice disappear!

Back for a week to get some work stuff sorted, the weather up here is not bad, about freezing overnight and warmer in the day – sunny and no wind which makes a huge difference! But it’s clearly been very cold while we were away, as shown by all the ice on the pond:
Some snow left on the ground, but most of it has gone now (no digging out the car!):
