Anniversary On Golden Pond

We spent our 21st anniversary at The Manor On Golden Pond in New Hampshire, located by Squam Lake which was where On Golden Pond was filmed. But we chose the hotel for it’s views, and lovely room with four poster bed and real fireplace! Our anniversary dinner last night was fabulous too, with everything on this “Chef’s Tasting Menu” excellent, except for the Beet(root) ice cream!

While we were there it got very cold – but we still enjoyed a drive around the area, visiting a few towns and craft stores, following this “old fashioned” mapping technology – and colder still this morning, the view had changed to much more white – the car too!
