The cold weather and regular snow falls is keeping the garden well covered – not enough sun to make much difference. There’s also a bright red splash – a Cardinal in his bold Spring plumage; impossible to see in the picture above, and difficult to photograph with my 5x zoom:
Between the storms
Two snow storms in the last few days, and the snow piles are getting quite high now – this is just the snow cleared from our driveway; yesterdays storm hadn’t got very serious when I left for work in the morning, and was gone by mid afternoon so the roads coming home were perfectly clear and safe!
But while the sky is clear blue and beautiful today, with strong sunshine, weather predictions say it’s going to get very cold (below 0f!) and maybe a big snow storm mid next week (where big means up to TWO FEET of snow, on top of all that we have already) …
