Overnight warmer weather and rain helped to make much of the fish pond ice disappear!

Back for a week to get some work stuff sorted, the weather up here is not bad, about freezing overnight and warmer in the day – sunny and no wind which makes a huge difference! But it’s clearly been very cold while we were away, as shown by all the ice on the pond:
Some snow left on the ground, but most of it has gone now (no digging out the car!):
Snow, back home …
Our neighbor Joannne posted a couple pictures of the (light) snow back home – I thought I’d copy this one, showing the fish pond lightly coated and quite beautiful!
