The snows are mostly still around – it was nearly always well below freezing while I was in California last week; but a strong sun did some melting, that quickly froze again! Here are icicles dripping off rocks on my way to work:

Goose Cove Reservoir – Frozen
It’s been a cold winter so far, and Goose Cove Reservoir is quite frozen! I took a walk out on to the ice today, to take pictures – another sunny, cold day, but the wind blowing across the ice was bitter!
Another day of snow
Snow was supposed to start late last night and go on all day; in fact when we got up, light snow was changing to rain – but now it’s back to large flakes coming down (a problem for my planned flight to California this evening!)
