We had another frost yesterday morning – but with the sun shining it was very pretty; really interesting is the strength of the winter sun – look on the roof and see how the edge of the frost follows right next to the shadow … as the sun rose and the shadow moved, the frost has rapidly melted!
Probably not even an inch this morning, and mostly melted by mid afternoon … but it still counts!
When Margaret & I headed to New Hampshire last Friday in her convertible, we enjoyed mid 70s and hot sunny weather – now today we have near freezing and heavy wet snow! Luckily the ground is not cold enough for the snow to settle …
