We’ve been to this pink hotel on the Gulf Coast a few times – I particularly love the soft sandy beach! It’s about 110 miles from home so an easy road trip and a nice place to have a mini vacation.

We took a road trip to stay on the gulf coast at Don Cesar, on the way we stopped at Whimzeyland a free (but donations accepted) display or quirky art at a few private homes! There were some impressive things including a ?snoopy? firefighter and a VB beetle covered in electronics! Here are photos:
Winter Garden Music Festival 2025
Winter Garden had a big music festival today with 5 or 6 stages set up for performances ranging from bluegrass through blues, pop, evening including opera (which we skipped!) … it was VERY well attended to the point of being impossible to move during the evening Spazmatics performance (a highlight for us)!
