While our friend Michael visits (from Massachusetts), we headed to the Kennedy Space Center to tour the Space Shuttle and Saturn V exhibits, and just have a nice time! There’s been quite a few changes since I last visited, including a 50th anniversary garden with sculpture of the Apollo 11 astronauts … lots of photos, of course!
There’s more than one car show in the area; while our Winter Garden one is fun and easy to get to, it’s only every three months … today we headed down to the Sunset Walk shopping/restaurant area in the Margaritaville Kissimmee resort, meeting friends to tour a different car show. There’s more variety at this show, including “modern muscle” cars and a cluster of impressive Jeeps. Here’s lots of photos:
When I woke this morning, the window frames were glowing around the edge of drapes – so I quickly grabbed these couple of sunrise views (they’d faded soon after!)
