On the Michigan side of the Great Lake, we visited ‎⁨Frederik Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids – lots of beautiful gardens including those in a huge greenhouse … and also lots of sculptures! A nice afternoon with lots of see.

Mackinac Island has no cars (apart from a “secret” few!); we took a ferry over to stay one night – which is about enough time really (it’s quite a small place!); we had very expensive lunch in The Grand Hotel, and took a nice horse drawn carriage ride …

Not too far from Wisconsin Dells we found this most spectacular sculpture park, free to visit (though I purchased stuff to contribute); so much to see and I’m sure if we visited again we’d see lots we missed the first time!
