My X3 is leaking!

Last week Margaret noted a fresh black oily puddle on our garage floor (and it looks like there’s older dried stains too), looking under the car I could see a drip at the edge of a cover but no further clue to the cause …

I quickly took it to BMW and they identified that “the transfer case main bushing is leaking” at a nearly $2000 repair cost!

Since they don’t have the part in stock, I’m now driving a surprisingly small/cramped X2 – I’ve hit my head more than once getting out of the car so it’s not a future car for me even though it’s quite well equipped with a good-enough engine (of course not as potent as my X3 M40i!) …

Not sure how long I will have this car … hopefully it’s big enough to take our visitors and their luggage back to the airport!

UPDATE: I got my car back today (March 2nd) …

Animal Kingdom with family

We visited our final Disney park with Angie & Iain today (and Angie said it was her favourite); we headed first to the Safari ride and got good views of quite a few animals – and a slight view of the newest baby elephant …

We also walked the Asia and Africa walks, including seeing a couple of tigers! And we often saw Russell and Dug (from Up) while we walked from place to place …

Of course, we saw the Nemo musical again!

And we finished our day walking in Pandora / Avatar land, including photos …
