Heading further north, we took a break at a historic lead mine site – while we couldn’t go in the old buildings, there was an interesting museum and lots of rocks and minerals (we even bought a couple!) …
We stopped here just to tick off Arkansas on our “states visited” list, and sadly there’s not a lot to see – there was a cool BLYTHEVILLE sign, and a (closed) Greyhound Bus museum …
Before leaving Memphis we enjoyed a couple hours walk around the beautiful Botanic Gardens (with hints of Alice In Wonderland) …
