While in Memphis it’s almost required to visit Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley – and wow there’s a lot of Elvis (and visitors) there! Here’s a LOT of photos …

Our first two night stay, arriving in the evening and just time for a visit to Mud Island River Park where there is a scale model of part of the Mississippi river (though it no longer has flowing water and is sadly not well cared for!). There’s a big MEMPHIS sign too …

Adding another state to our list, we chose to visit Tupelo the birthplace of Elvis Presley! There was a lot of Elvis around, including just yards from our hotel … more pictures of course (the hardware store is supposed to be where Elvis was purchased his first guitar, rather than a rifle, so beginning his career!):
