A few people have seen this Toggle Switch Re-labeling kit, which was shipped to early MINI owners as part of the owners welcome kit. The idea is to have some fun re-labeling the toggle switches in your car – but these labels are no longer available from MINI USA (I can’t even find them on eBay!)
But now, MINI Pirate, an aftermarket MINI company, has designed their own similar re-label kit and is planning to sell a batch:

Do they not send this out anymore with the welcome kit? I received my kit last summer with the toggle relabeling stickers and I have an ’05.
MINI USA recently told a MINI sales advisor I know that they have none …
I got a set with my “unofficial users manual” in the mail, shortly after I took posession of my ’06 MCS.

Well, it turns out there is a “toggle switch re-label kit” in one of my welcome kits – I wonder if they are still available as part of the welcome kit?

I’m an *AVID* Mini collector, and I’d love to get my hands on an original Welcome Kit and/or UnOfficial Owners Manual and even a set of the original stickers (I’m getting some from Mini Pirate too…)… as we don’t get these things over in Australia I’d love if someone could help me out – obviously happy to pay for them.

I have four (yes, that’s “4”) of the silly MINI welcome kits that we received with our 2005 MCS. I guess MINI felt that it was the least they could do after selling us a lemon. [GRIN].
Anyway, it appears that each of the welcome kits are a bit different (i.e. they all contain different trinkets in them, etc.), but I believe that all of them have the re-labeling stickers in them (although I believe that I gave one set of the stickers away to someone already). If you’re after the welcome kits for collection purposes, etc. just let me know and I’ll be more than happy to send one or two of them to you. Personally, they’re meaningless (i.e. worthless) to me and so they’re just sitting here collecting dust.

i don’t think these are discontinued… i have a 2006 mini, and just got my welcome kit in the mail a few weeks ago, and in it, a toggle switch re-labeling kit.
Congratulations! You have a pretty rare MINI item 😉
