Last night we walked down to Winter Garden Newton Park to catch their annual fireworks display “rain or shine” and it did rain on us but the show was amazing and worth getting wet! Some photos:
I also did some video, very unusual for me vertical because fireworks work much better that way! But editing gave me some challenges – sorry!
On Independence Day Winter Garden has a different style parade to many towns, where children get to parade, walking or on scooters or being pushed in strollers – all patriotically dressed; an easy 10 minute walk for us from home downtown to watch and enjoy:

Our final day, leaving the hotel after lunchtime to fly back to Lima and then home, needed some careful travel planning due to it being a BIG festival day! Here are some photos before we left:
