Replacement Windshield

Many thanks to MINI of Peabody – especially Dave who did the installation of my new windshield yesterday, and who also solved the problem with my seat belt getting wet after I washed the car (due to a factory-damaged door seal).

A MINI looks shocking with no windshield – much better with a new windshield installed:

How glad I am to have a great local dealership, that carries stock of parts needed and has excellent techs to do the work 🙂

MAMA smells the tulips

The trip to Smith college spring flower show (organized by MAMA) turned out to be a great excuse to get together with MINI owners! Sunday morning we all met at Theo & Carols house, where they provided coffee & food:

We then headed into Northampton (great town!) to the bulb show, loading up one parking lot with MINIs (and waving to a couple more MINIs that happened to be there too). The show is held in some beautiful old greenhouses, and there were lovely flowers and plants throughout!

Thanks to Theo & Carol for their hospitality, and to MAMA for the event!

MINIsOnTop Tshirts

Thanks to some quick work from Craig (COOPERation on MINI2), I had a few sample MINIsOnTop 2006 Tshirts to show off at todays MAMA event:

This is the “modern” design, featuring MINIs as well as the MOT / Monte Carlo inspired decal, and also featuring a little yellow duck. The design will be printed on Hanes Beefy T shirts, and having worn one all day and driven home in it, I can attest to its comfort 🙂
