This morning while laying out at the pool at 8002, we heard this strange squeal/squeak – sounded initially like a Baby, or maybe a bird, but it turned out to be the call of a Frog – a two foot black Snake was attempting to swallow it, and the Frog wasn’t enjoying the experience!
We went over for a closer look, and the Snake “ran” away, leaving the Frog to escape.
But half an hour later, we heard the same sound; the Frog stupidly had got itself caught a second time! Once again, the Snake backed off when I approached (but not so far this time, instead the Snake started threatening me), but I picked up the Frog and took it to the other side of the garden:

The Frog later climbed the fence with sucker-like feet, and hopped in to a bush next door; hopefully it won’t meet the Snake again …

JetBlue gives us great direct flights from Boston to Orlando, with more legroom than other airlines, individual TVs with more than 30 TV channels, or loads of Satellite Radio channels, and this “where are we” display .. You almost wish the flight wasn’t over when we land!

We’ll soon be back at 8002 for a second week in Florida, this time with Kate & Chris too …

Today was “time for a new TV” day, at 8002! It didn’t start that way – we just went to Super Target to get some Cascade for the dishwasher … but the TV that came with the house was awful, and fuzzy, and the cabinet it lived it uncomfortably dominated the living area … and suddenly we were looking at new flat panel TVs, then TV/media stands, then wondering if it would all fit in GPMINI (and it did).

So here’s the new – a 42″(!) Plasma TV, on an attractive glass topped stand:
